The design's author is Kapitolina Kosenkova, the form’s author is Serafima Yakovleva. Production of the item began in the 1970s.

Kosenkova, Kapitolina Grigorievna (1926-1984) – porcelain painter, member of the Union of Soviet Artists. In 1953 she graduated from Leningrad College of Decorative Arts and Applied Arts (now St. Petersburg Stieglitz Academy of Fine Arts), and worked as a painter at LFZ from 1953 to 1984. Exhibited since 1953.
Form Author
Yakovleva, Serafima Evgenievna (1910-1993) – sculptor, Honored Artist of the RSFSR. She worked at LFZ from 1935 to 1987, where she created approximately 40 service forms and around 50 forms for various other items. The "Tulip" form, developed in 1936 and gaining particular renown with the “Cobalt Mesh” decoration, became one of the most popular designs for many decades. Other popular forms by Serafima Yakovleva include "Spring," "Banquet," and others. In 1958, at the World’s Fair in Brussels, she was awarded a Gold Medal for the service forms “Eastern,” “Spring,” and “Tulip.” In 1962, she received a Silver Medal at the International Ceramics Exhibition in Prague. Works are held in the collections of the Hermitage Museum, the Russian Museum, and other museums and private collections.
