A RARE RARITY!! The teapot was produced in a limited edition by special order. To be honest, I have never seen one like this before. The artist responsible for the hand-painted decoration is Alexei Vorobyevsky, a painter from the Lomonosov Porcelain Factory (Imperial Porcelain Factory). The design "Winter's Tale," also known as "Little Winter," depicts a winter landscape in Vorobyevsky’s works that transforms into a wondrous fairytale scene, where bright, gingerbread houses, buried in snowdrifts, cluster on a hillside surrounded by fluffy snow-covered branches and green fir trees, creating an ultimately festive and uplifting mood. The artist masterfully plays with the white porcelain surface and the pristine white snow. In 1984, "Winter's Tale" was awarded a gold medal at the International Fair in Leipzig.
