The "Heraldic" (formerly "Chinese") tea-coffee service was created at the Imperial Porcelain Factory for the Heraldic Service specifically for Pavlovsk Palace in the mid-19th century during the reign of Alexander II and restored at the Lomonosov Porcelain Factory in 1996. An excellent acquisition for a collection, as a gift, or for festive tea parties! The service includes a teapot, sugar bowl, creamer, 6 cups, 6 saucers, and 6 dessert plates. I wouldn't be surprised if it was made as a unique piece as a gift to an important person. Condition is like new. Minor details: two saucers are lacking hallmarks. Such a service cannot by definition be assembled. Why – I don’t know; there’s probably some mystery here. This service has its own instructive history. The service was purchased by me in November 2024 for Airi Allikvee, founder of the Коллекционеры ЛФЗ (Collectors LFZ) group. Airi Allikvee did not have the money to purchase it, but she very much wanted to acquire such a rare service. I then offered to buy the service for her with my own funds. We agreed with Airi Allikvee that she would redeem it from me within 3-4 months. However, neither after 3 nor after 4 months this happened. I waited patiently and... in mid-April 2025 I was excluded from the Коллекционеры ЛФЗ (Collectors LFZ) group without explanation. Airi Allikvee unfriended me. I tried to contact her via WhatsApp, but there has been no response. The moral of the story: it doesn't matter who your buyer is, or what friendly relations you have with them; remember that until a deposit is made, the buyer can change their mind at any moment, even without informing you. A buyer can change their mind even with a deposit, but then you will be left not only with an unpleasant feeling from the deal, but also with some money. You have a unique opportunity to buy a service that was the dream of a very well-known Finnish LFZ collector, Airi Allikvee!
