The “Winter Amusements” service on the "Coat of Arms" form was produced at the Imperial Porcelain Factory.
The hand-painted decoration is by People’s Artist of Russia Alexei Vorobevsky. The forms were cast from a museum pattern of the 19th century, taken from the collection of the State Hermitage Museum's “Museum of Porcelain.”
Cheerful winter scenes depicting sleigh and toboggan rides adorn the porcelain pieces, resembling an illustration to a kind fairytale, preserving the warmth of its creator’s hands.
Each piece in the service is a unique painting, a complete work of art. Vorobevsky was known as a painter-jeweler for his detailed rendering and elaborate ornamentation.
