A RARETY FOR A COLLECTION The service includes 15 pieces: teapot, sugar bowl, creamer, 6 cups (8.5 oz), 6 saucers. The service is made of the finest snow-white porcelain, with an even blue glaze, abundant gilding, and hand-painted decoration. The renowned Dulevo "Krasavitsa" (Beauty) was created for the Paris Exhibition of 1937 and intended as a work celebrating the beauty of the Russian woman. Many iconic Dulevo paintings from the Soviet period are the work of the factory’s chief artist, Pyotr Vasilyevich Leonov. Leonov received the Grand Gold Medal at the World's Fair in Paris for the Krasavitsa service. The famous "Krasavitsa" service is considered a classic. During the Soviet era, it could be found in the display cabinets of many city apartments. Drawing author - P.V. Leonov, Honored Artist of the RSFSR. Form author - S.E.
