Lomonosov Imperial Porcelain Gold Cobalt Net Large Tea Pot Imperial (Lomonosov) Porcelain Produced by the Imperial (Lomonosov) Porcelain Factory in St. Petersburg - one of the longest-operating porcelain factories in Russia. These beautiful pieces are picture the famous Gold Cobalt Net design - a simple yet exquisite ornamentation designed by A. Yatskevich. This pattern has, through the decades, held true as the business card of the factory. By hand-painting the piece with genuine cobalt and 22 karat gold ink, the artist creates a striking combination of intertwining lines, drops and accents, carefully preserving the ancient art of porcelain painting and decoration. The tea pot is 27 x 17 cm and 18 cm tall and holds 2.2 litres ( 2 quarts water). Hand-painted with genuine 22 karat gold ink.
