No cracks or chips are present. There is evidence of prior use – see photos. Please examine the photographs carefully. You will receive exactly the pair shown in the photos. The "Syreni" (Lily of the Valley) cups occasionally exhibit inclusions resembling black specks. These points occur within the porcelain body when iron oxide impurities are present in the clay used for its manufacture. After firing, these resulted in black spots. Attempts were made to mitigate this using magnets; while some effect was achieved, it was not substantial. The problem was ultimately resolved with electromagnets featuring a stronger field, eliminating the specks entirely. However, this occurred much later than the production period of these cups. It is precisely for this reason that the "Syreni" service (set) is predominantly found in the 2nd and 3rd grades. This does not detract from the beauty or functionality of the cups.
