The cup and saucer are made at the Imperial Porcelain Factory (St. Petersburg) from classic hard porcelain. The decoration utilizes overglaze décalcomanie with gold accents. The cup’s volume is 250 ml, height is 6.8 cm, and the saucer's diameter is 14.4 cm. The hand-painted design is by artist Alexey Vorobyevsky of the Lomonosov (Imperial) Porcelain Factory; the form was designed by artist and sculptor Serafima Yakovleva of the Lomonosov (Imperial) Porcelain Factory. The piece first went on sale in 2000. In excellent condition.
