The cup and saucer are made at the Imperial Porcelain Factory (St. Petersburg) from fine bone porcelain. Hand-painted overglaze decoration is used for embellishment. The cup’s volume is 165 ml, height is 7.7 cm, and the saucer's diameter is 12.1 cm. The painter of the decoration is artist Alexey Vorobyevsky of the Lomonosov (Imperial) Porcelain Factory; the form’s designer is artist and sculptor Eduard Krimmer of the Lomonosov (Imperial) Porcelain Factory. The piece first went on sale in the 1970s.
