RARE!! The teapot was made at the Lomonosov Porcelain Factory from hard porcelain. The form was hand-modeled. Hand-applied overglaze decoration is used for embellishment. The form’s designer is Tamara Bespalova-Mikhaleva. Production of the item began in 1978. Capacity – 480 ml, height – 18.4 cm. Tamara Nikolaevna Bespalova-Mikhaleva (1912-1991) - member of the USSR Union of Artists, porcelain painter, sculptor. In 1931 she graduated from the ceramics department of the Academy of Arts. At the invitation of LFZ’s chief artist, architect I. Mikhailov, she worked as a painter in the painting shop of the factory from 1931-1932, and from 1932 to 1975 – as an artist in the artistic laboratory. She participated in the decoration of the Khimki railway station and the stations of the Moscow Metro. During her years at LFZ, she created a large number of samples for mass production, as well as unique works. Her works are held in the Hermitage Museum, the State Russian Museum, Kuskovo Estate, and others. The artist’s surname is often written with the letter "z."
